In an era of instant gratification, we've lost the magic of the wait. We take a thousand photos at a wedding, checking each one immediately, retaking away the imperfections — and missing the very moment we were trying to capture.
When every photo is curated in real time, the authenticity vanishes. We stopped living for the experience and started living for the post.
The joy of anticipation
Reela was born from a simple desire: to bring back the feeling of picking up an envelope of freshly developed film. That nervous excitement, the shared laughter over the blurry shots, and the realization that the "bad" photos were actually the best ones.
So we gave every guest a limited set of exposures and one shared gallery that stays locked until the reveal. No previews, no retakes — just the pure joy of being present with the people who matter most, and one big moment when everything develops at once.

Privacy first
Photos stay private to your event. Guests join without creating an account, and photos are deleted after 90 days. No social feeds, no public profiles.
