Reunions

The shared photo album app for family reunions

Reela hands every relative — from the little cousins to grandma — one set of film exposures, then drops every shot into a single shared camera roll. Nobody peeks until the reveal, when the whole family's photos develop together at once.

Why Reela

Made for a house full of family

A reunion spans generations, phones, and comfort levels with technology. Reela keeps everyone shooting the same event without a single sign-up.

Everyone in one gallery

No more chasing candids across a dozen phones and three group chats. Every relative shoots into the same shared roll, so the whole reunion lives in one place instead of scattered everywhere.

Grandparents join in seconds

There is no account to create and nothing new to learn. Scan the QR on the table or type a 6-letter join code like SUN-SET, and you are already shooting.

Kept in the family

Your reunion gallery is private to the people you invite. Photos stay locked until your reveal time, then unlock for everyone at once — no early spoilers.

How it works

How it works at your reunion

1

Create the reunion event

Pick a reveal time — maybe the moment everyone heads home. Reela gives you a 6-letter join code and a QR to print on table cards or drop in the family chat.

2

Everyone shoots their roll

Each relative joins by code or QR and gets a fixed set of exposures. No retakes and no scrolling anyone else's shots — just honest, in-the-moment photos all weekend.

3

The whole family reveals together

At reveal time the shared gallery unlocks for everyone at once. Save your favorites to the camera roll and pass them around the family.

One camera roll

One camera roll, zero friction

The hardest part of any reunion photo plan is getting three generations onto the same app. Reela skips that entirely — guests never make an account, never learn a new interface, and never dig through settings. They scan a QR or type a code, and every shot lands in the same gallery as everyone else's.

Because photos stay hidden until the reveal, nobody spends the weekend hunched over a screen editing and re-taking. Everyone stays in the room. When the countdown ends, the gallery opens for the whole family, and any photo can be saved to the camera roll and shared. Reela keeps your photos for 90 days, so there is plenty of time to download the ones you love.

Best for reunions

The Social tier fits most family reunions

Social covers up to 50 people including the host, with 20 exposures each — plenty for a weekend of aunts, uncles, and cousins. It is a one-time payment for the whole event: no subscription and no per-person fees. Hosting a bigger clan? Larger event sizes go all the way up to 250 people, and Shot Boost can give every guest more shots.

FAQ

Reunion questions, answered

Do my relatives need an account to join?

No. Guests join with a 6-letter code or by scanning a QR — no account and no sign-up. Only the host needs the app to create the event and set the reveal time.

How many people can join one reunion?

It depends on the tier you choose. The Social tier covers up to 50 people including the host, and larger families can size up all the way to 250 people on the Grand tier. Every tier includes the same features.

Can everyone save the photos afterward?

Yes. When your reveal time arrives, the shared gallery unlocks for everyone at once, and photos can be saved to the camera roll and shared. Reela stores the photos for 90 days, so there is plenty of time to download your favorites.
